Unpopular opinion (I guess, I have seen MAYBE one person agree with me on my dash)
I love Castiel more than anything- but. I would also prefer if Misha came back as someone else, preferably evil (cause let’s face it, the few seconds Leviathan!Cas existed were so glorious and beautiful, how can one not want more of that maniacal grin?). Castiel’s character was just ripped apart in season 6 and I don’t have enough faith in the SPN writers to fix him properly and to have the brothers deal with all the things he did in a way that’s plausible and just. If they do bring Cas back then I hope it really isn’t all “OH YAY YOU’RE ALIVE!” and that it’s more “idk how to feel about this shit ‘cause i don’t know if i can trust you :<”

This is exactly how I feel. I’m not one of those that can so easily go “that’s it, I’m not going to watch this anymore-” because I still love Sam&Dean and this show is about them. But… the side-characters are what make a show to me and much of the time I end up loving a side-character more than the actual main ones- so killing them all off is ruining it for me and watching this show now feels more like an obligation rather than just having fun and enjoying it.
